This one is kinda out there just be open minded when reading this!If the mind is stored as information/data inside a computer than it would be possible for humans to travel close to the speed of light. This is because data can travel much faster than matter and furthermore less energy would be required to achieve it. This would enable humans to travel to distant stars as long as there is a computer at the destination, which can grab and decode the data that it receives. The mind would stay dormant and once the information has reached the source the brain can be emulated. The trip would feel only a fraction of a second instead of light-years.

If the particles are separated and one is to move up or down the other would also move. The up and down motion could be used as a computer language of 1's an 0's to transfer data, therefore making it possible to travel faster than the speed of light.

Didn't Hitler use similar marketing techniques to sell his 'master race' concept to the German people? I mean come on now, who's that gullible enough to believe that everyday Joes will be allowed to partake in this 'singularity?' Hitler promised jobs, lower crime and trains that run on time. Now we're being promised thoughts traveling faster than light. But the governance of such a system is curiously never detailed until it is implemented. And then it's too late.
Well the truth is that we don't know how the "singularity" will unfold once it has started. But you may be right(A. Magnus Publius). I guess the only way we will find out is if we wait...We just don't know/or can even comprehend what will occur from the exponential growth of technology.
Quantum entanglement can't transmit information faster than light. Secondly, you'd need to sent the entangled particle to the destination before attempting to do the impossible.

So, even if the Mind were able to be "handled" in this 3-D Level, and put in a cube, who would touch and store said cube? The scientists (?) who just happen to be under the control of the International Corporations/Banksters? After all, we KNOW scientists are underwritten by the Business/Elite.
Anyone can do anything they want with those Mind/cubes...even destroy them!

You my friend don't know much about the "real" upcoming computer revolution. We wont be stored under a scientists dirty office computer. Computers will be everywhere. Nano computers, smaller than a grain of sand. These computers will be everywhere and no organization/government will have the power to stop/erase/destroy any of these nano computers. And these computers will be connected together and can communicate with each other. Think of this as the internet on steroids.
And as far as controlling the physical world, the mind can be put on robotic bodies to have physical interactions with your physical world. But at the same time still connected to the virtual world and able to jump between these two worlds instantly.

Since no software has been introduced so far that can give us 100% freedom of malicious viruses and other malware,what is to stop some brilliant psycho from sending a very sophisticated and deadly worm into the system to eat our minds. Imagine sending your mind out for a cosmic stroll and having nothing come back to enable you and your body to ever function normally again. I would never put my mind soul matter into a system like that until you the smart ass scientists can ensure us that this system if worm proof. After all if these nano-pc's are everywhere,that means everyone will theoretically have access to them. Sorry,eggheads but there are too many psycho virus makers on the loose to ever allow for this to be a safe eventuality.

You are right, security is a problem now and it will be a problem for some time to come.
But there are things we could do to make the system more secure. Such as complex AI that specializes in security prevention/detection. Think of this AI as agent Smith from the movie matrix. This AI could monitor threats that are coming from outside the system and also within the system.
Again this is all speculative and pointless because anything could happen in the singularity. We just don't know what is going to happen, we can only speculate.
But how do you move consciousness? Bits don't have it.
AI is only as good as the technology of the time and could eventually be compromised. Why strive for singularity and technological convenience when we have been gifted individuality to interperet as we choose?
